Meet Torin the Trail Guide!

After many years away, Torin has finally returned home.

Legend says Torin once watched over the old Fjeld farmstead, quietly keeping an eye on the prairie, woodlands, and all the creatures that called them home. Now that the Fjeld homestead has been recreated in the Legacy Prairie & Woodlands, Torin has come back to see what has changed.

And a lot has changed.

Native prairies are growing. Bluebirds are nesting. Trails wind through restored habitats. People of all ages are discovering the beauty and wonder of the natural world.

This summer, Torin is setting out to explore once again. You’ll find him wandering the trails, investigating wildlife, checking on pollinators, and learning about the many plants, animals, and hidden treasures that make this place special. Along the way, he’ll share nature facts, observations, challenges, and a little trail wisdom of his own.
