Endowment Fund

Vermont Church maintains an Endowment Fund from which funds are disbursed each year to recipients such as global and domestic missions, community outreach and/or seminary or missionary support.

Our six-member Endowment Committee disburses at least 6% of the Fund’s principal to recipients suggested by congregation members or church leaders. And distributions can occur anytime of the year as the need arises, such as after a hurricane or flood, to a family whose house is damaged by fire, or to an individual undergoing major health expenses.

The Endowment Fund distributions are in addition to mission outreach funds allocated in the congregation’s regular church budget and/or free will donations to causes brought forward during the year.
